Creating true systems change means working collaboratively with greater collective action, coordination and co-learning. This project between the Deep Transitions Lab (DT Lab) and the TransCap Initiative (TCI) was born from the intention to learn from each other and to inform and strengthen each other’s work by identifying commonalities and differences, building bridges between our respective conceptual foundations and sharing lessons learned from our efforts to bring theory into practice.
To create a co-learning environment, we explored the DT Lab theory based on decades of scholarship in the field of transitions (including the first and second foundational papers)and TCI’s foundational publications (most notably their white paper and SSIR article) which anchors systemic investing in systems thinking and complexity science. Throughout the process, we focused on exploring how our approaches and tools differ and how we could enrich and deepen each other’s work. Read our short report on what we discovered.
